This fall has been a lot. A lot of newness, but also a lot of personal struggle. But thinking back to my time with this family brings me a sense of gratitude and hope amongst the chaos that surrounded me during that time. Our first session was scheduled for golden hour on a September weekend with no chance of rain in the forecast. When I arrived, the skies opened up and our plans were quickly changed. We rescheduled for later that month in their neighborhood park and were greeted by the most beautiful weather and gorgeous sunset. We made art in photographs of them being their truest selves and I will forever be grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to be a small part of their amazing lives.
